About

I graduated from Otis College of Art and Design in 2005, specializing in Fashion Design.  I was exposed to fashion at an early age as both of my parents work in the garment industry back when domestic manufacturing was in it’s prime.  I loved visiting the apparel factories with my parents and would swoon over the old fashion magazines my Mom used to bring home after the designer at work threw them out.  I knew I wanted to follow my parents footsteps… and so that’s where the journey began.

I studied at Otis College of Art and Design, graduating with Honors. While attending college, I interned at Obey Clothing, working with Shepard Fairey's artwork to create graphic tees and street wear apparel.

Over the course of years since graduating, I’ve worked in various markets ranging from premium denim, knit wear, action sports to active wear.  I’ve had the opportunity to work with domestic manufacturers along with several overseas factories.

A few years ago Otis Fashion reached out asking if I’d be interested in co-teaching the Junior Fashion Design course for one semester.  I had the opportunity to work along-side some of the top fashion instructors.  It was a great opportunity for me to hone in my skills as a mentor and leader.

As I’m nearing two decades of experience, I pride myself on being a well rounded designer, leader with a strong business & manufacturing sensibility.

On my free time, I created a community project called, Art in Numbers; which aims to support the creative needs of local artists through community partnerships, art shows, and fundraisers to support arts education for Los Angeles inner city youth.  I believe it's important for creatives to join together and make their voices heard to counteract the negativity and intolerance in our society.
